My Weekly 5 - Stripe, Ethereum, &

The Weekly Five - #1

I realized that every week I reviewed what happened around the tech industry, and I thought it would be nice to share it with everyone.

So here is my Weekly Five, the list of articles and stuff that I’m enjoying:

  1. The Story Behind Stripe: So fascinating to understand the journey for the Collison’s brothers, if you love Stripe, and mainly Fintech, this is a must read, and you should listen to the podcast.

  2. The Cool Tool I started using: is an app that you can do everything you want. The reason why I started using Notion started because as a Head of Product, I need to keep everything up to date, from tasks, roadmap, to documentation. This allows you to have a wiki, CRM, plus project management, so it’s pretty cool.

  3. The Essay that reminds me something: As a product manager, “No” will be the thing you will be saying most of the time.

  4. The Song that made me dance: I LOVE Mumford & Sons, they just released two new songs.

  5. How does Ethereum work, anyway?: I’ve been doing a lot of research around Stable Coins & programmable money when I ran into Preethi’s article, this summarizes Ethereum elegantly.

The Book I’m reading: The Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer.

Public Personal Commitments:

  1. I’ve been waking up at 5:30am for 5 days, it’s been hard.

  2. I’ve done 25 hrs of learning Python, still motivated.

  3. Failed: I wanted to meditate continuously for 5 days, I missed it.

This week’s goals:

  1. Be at the gym before 6.15am.

  2. Reach 10 hours of programming.

  3. 3. Publish this newsletter even though I’ll be traveling to Italy.
